Background.   Clio is a legal practice management and client intake software that helps law firms manage day-to-day workflows and business operations. Every year Clio organizes the Cloud Conference in San Diego (USA), for 2019 they wanted to launch in the conference the Legal Insider Magazine, they wanted to give a copy to all conference attendees and then make of Legal Insider a quarterly magazine

Design Approach.  Having a very tight deadline to design a whole magazine is no easy task, but luckily the team at Clio was fantastic to work with. Clio wanted to give their audience, which is mainly lawyers, useful knowledge and tips for best practices in the industry in the form of articles. So what we did in order to make the readings interesting is that each article had a different style, we played around with fonts, different colour schemes and a combination of illustrations and stock photography.

Danielle Giroux
Creative Director at Clio

"Daniela was incredible to work with on this project! As we aimed to design and print our inaugural issue in under 6 weeks, Daniela was incredibly responsive and had an amazing attention for detail. She was able to grasp our brand and direction and scale it to the outcome of our entire magazine with very little direction. The iterations we received back from her were consistently not only what we had in mind, but better than we could have expected. With such a tight timeline it can be a big decision to outsource creative, but I couldn't have been more thankful that we had the opportunity to work with Daniela on this project and have her bring this to life in a way we couldn't have imagined."
